Is it possible to generate water from air? Yes, it is, and we are doing it.
We create potable water from the condensation of vapor in the air.
During the 2018 earthquakes in Indonesia, which claimed the lives of over 2,000 people, we traveled to the epicenter of the disaster to assist affected families and witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of lack of access to potable water. Upon our return to Europe, we researched how to condense water vapor from the air, filter it, and add mineral salts, with the goal of generating potable water where it doesn’t exist. We put technology at the service of environmental and social transformation and created Bluemont. A project by Square Green Capital in collaboration with the Fundación Square.
